The band took to Instagram to make the announcement about their upcoming tour, writing “WAKE UP, we’re going on tour. So Much For (Tour) Dust is coming to stadiums and amphitheaters this summer!”
The tour is no surprise, as it’s kicking off just a few weeks after the band releases their upcoming album “So Much (For) Stardust,” which is set for a March 24 release. This will be Fall Out Boy’s first round of concerts since 2021′s “Hella Mega” tour with Green Day and Weezer. The band won’t be hitting the tour streets alone either. Joining the band for the run is Bring Me the Horizon on most dates, with Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, Four Years Strong, The Academy Is…, Royal & the Serpent, Games We Play, Daisy Grenade and Carr each performing at select shows.

This tour will also mark the first tour since its co-founder and longtime guitarist Joe Trohman announced he’ll be taking a break from the group. “Without divulging all the details, I must disclose that my mental health has rapidly deteriorated over the past several years,” Trohman said. “So, to avoid fading away and never returning, I will be taking a break from work which regrettably includes stepping away from Fall Out Boy for a spell.”
Kicking off with a stadium show at Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 21, the tour will make stops in cities including Dallas, Los Angeles, Virginia Beach, and Atlanta, before wrapping on Aug. 6 in Camden, New Jersey.
Presale tickets become available for select fans on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. before the general sale opens on Friday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.
