Ready to ring in 2023 with new fitness goals? Bounce Houz is giving you a way to kick off the new year with a fresh approach to getting in shape!

The dynamic workout experience combines traditional barre, trampoline (rebounding) and kettlebells to help you reach your body goals. While I was initially nervous about trying this new type of workout, I can truly say I’m so glad I did! Between the neon-lit environment, unique, upbeat playlist, and super encouraging instructors, the studio has all the ingredients for the welcoming workout experience we all need. While their current location will close on Feb. 4 (new location TBD), they are offering drop-in classes for $15 until then - a great deal to get you motivated!

Bounce Houz owner and instructor Haley Glass understands how overwhelming trying out a new fitness studio can be. “We totally get it, it’s very intimidating,” Glass told Access Atlanta. “My very first class, I was super nervous because your brain goes to the doom thoughts, or what if I bounce out the window? What if I eat it and fall really hard? What if I don’t bounce as fast as they do? Life is about tons of what ifs, but I’ll tell you, guaranteed, that you can’t be frowning on a mini trampoline.”

I’ll admit, thinking about working out can be draining. Whether it’s lifting weights, using machines that I don’t always fully understand how to use, or just the overall intimidating factor of it all. Plus, it can get super repetitive, am I right? Well, that’s not the case at Bounce Houz. It’s a fun, full-body workout. Not to mention, there’s no pressure of keeping up with anyone, you focus on your own pace. “Your body’s beat is so much more important than the music, more important than your neighbor’s beat, it’s your own little personal party…. you see everyone around you going at their own pace as well,” Glass said.

Not only is Bounce Houz sharing an exciting approach to fitness, but there are also tons of benefits. “Bounce is definitely one of the healthiest cardio movements that you can do,” Glass said. “It’s so easy on your joints, and it’s basically absorbing all the shock for you, so your body doesn’t have to do all that hard work.… A lot of women come in here because they hear it’s one of the best things you can do for cellulite and breast health, and it’s true. You’re also cleansing your lymphatic system as you bounce.” On top of that, Glass says the workout has helped women with their knee and lower back pain.

Who knew there were so many trampoline moves that would create a full-body workout? You still have until Feb. 4 to go to their current location and participate in a drop-in class for just $15 (new location TBD). Now that I know, I’m confident 2023 is the year to get in fierce shape.
