Madonna announces dates for 2023 ‘Celebration’ world tour

She’s a trendsetter, an icon, a material girl — and now she’s going on tour! We’re talking about the one and only Madonna, heading to State Farm Arena on Sept. 5.
Madonna has officially set the dates for “The Celebration Tour,” which spans across North America and Europe. The exciting announcement came with a creative rollout, including a video that paid tribute to Madonna’s 1991 documentary, “Truth or Dare.” In the tour announcement video, Lil Wayne, Eric André, Jack Black, Judd Apatow, Diplo, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, and more sit around with the songstress at a dinner party. While playing a NSFW game of truth or dare, Schumer dares Madonna to go on tour. Clearly, the legend takes the game seriously and doesn’t back down from a dare, because we’ve got a tour, ladies and gentlemen!
The 35-city tour kicks things off in Vancouver and continues making stops in cities like Denver, Chicago, New York, Miami and our backyard, of course — right here in Atlanta. The tour then makes its way to Europe, where Madonna will hit 11 cities, including London, Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm and more. “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said in a press release. “The Celebration Tour” promises a one-of-a-kind experience with special guest Bob the Drag Queen, a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue. I expect to hear some of Madonna’s Hot 100 hits like “Vogue,” “Music,” “Crazy For You,” “Like a Virgin,” and “Like a Prayer,” among others!
“The Celebration Tour” hits State Farm Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Fan Club and Citi Presale tickets are on sale now, while general public tickets go up for grabs on Friday, Jan. 20. Check out all the details and the official tour announcement video below!
