The animal kingdom has spoken, and they’re predicting a Georgia Bulldogs (No.1) win in the 2022 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Yang Yang, a 25-year-old male giant panda at Zoo Atlanta, was presented with two identical boxes painted in each team’s colors on Tuesday. He promptly chose the box with Georgia’s logo and made his prediction known to everyone watching the event — way to go Yang Yang!

Go ahead and do with that information as you must! Yang Yang accurately predicted the Georgia Bulldog’s 24-21 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats in 2020 and Michigan State’s win over Pittsburgh in 2021.

Yang Yang is one of four giant pandas at Zoo Atlanta, one of only three U.S. zoos that house these bears. Giant Pandas are a vulnerable species that relies heavily on conservation efforts.

“Fewer than 1,900 giant pandas remain in the wild in China’s Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. Of these, more than 1,200 live inside nature reserves. Zoo Atlanta has supported programs on eight of these reserves and has contributed well over $16 million in support for wild giant pandas living in China.” a press release from Zoo Atlanta stated.

The 2022 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl takes place on New Year’s Eve at Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Then, should Yang Yang’s prediction ring true for a third time, the Bulldogs will face the winner of the Fiesta Bowl in the College Football National Championship at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Jan. 9, 2023.
