Swifties Unite: Taylor Swift officially announces ‘The Eras Tour’ with Atlanta stop

We’ve been patiently waiting for Taylor Swift to make her return to the stage, and she’s doing it next year with “The Eras Tour.”
I know there are Swifties rejoicing everywhere because this morning, Nov. 1, Swift took to her social media accounts to announce her upcoming tour. “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!),” Swift wrote.
Swift announced that the first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the U.S., with international dates to be announced soon. The tour kicks off March 18 in Glendale, Arizona, making stops in Arlington, Tampa, Houston, and, of course, Atlanta! Actually, Atlanta is getting a double dose of Swift, as she’s performing at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium twice — April 28 and 29.
The pop star also announced that she won’t be touring alone either — she has a bunch of talented friends coming along with her! Paramore, Beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red, Muna, Haim, Gracie Abrams, Gayle and Owenn will all be joining Swift on stage.
The tour announcement comes just about two weeks after she released her latest album, “Midnights,” which has already broken a bunch of records over the past few days. The album has become the fastest-selling album of her career and she’s the first-ever artist to claim the Top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at the same time. Swift even took to Twitter to share her excitement, writing, “10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES.”
That wasn’t all; “Midnights” also broke the record for the biggest pop album of all time on Apple Music by first-day streams.
Presale tickets for the Atlanta show go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com. Check out the full schedule below!
