Come to Placita Latina’s artists’ reception on Friday, Oct. 14, where you can enjoy the last day of the “Celebrating Our Collective Culture” showcase.

Try a BOO-zy book fair
You’re in for a spooktacular treat at the Spirits-Filled Boo-zy Book Fair on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. Located at Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee, this event is the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit, where guests can browse a carefully curated selection of un-boo-lievable titles while enjoying handcrafted cocktails and charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter. You’ll also have an opportunity to peruse the current art installation featuring works from local artists Craig Dongoski and Armando Chacon. Admission is free!

Get on that new vibration at TOSA
Taste of Soul Atlanta (TOSA) is a citywide food, music and cultural festival in downtown Atlanta, directly across from Mercedes Benz Stadium. Over two days, the festival features over 100 musical performances and the best soul food in the South. Bring your friends and family and get ready for lots of soulful fun!

Carve in the Courtyard
If you haven’t had time to make it to a pumpkin patch this season, don’t worry! Monday Night Garage, in the heart of the historic West End, is bringing the pumpkins to the people. There will be FREE pumpkins for painting and carving, live music from Micah Iverson (season 18 of “The Voice”), local food vendors and of course, delicious seasonal beers.
