Are you ready for some biscuits? Georgia just got a new brunch spot!

Biscuit Belly, a Kentucky-based craft-casual restaurant that offers chef-driven gourmet biscuit breakfast sandwiches, has officially opened in Acworth.

Located at 3330 Cobb Parkway, Biscuit Belly is hosting a grand opening event on Oct. 7 to celebrate the store’s opening. As part of the celebration, the first 50 guests receive a $100 gift card, the first 100 guests receive free coffee mugs, and everyone can enjoy free drip coffee all day.

The restaurant, which opened its doors in Acworth on Sept. 6, is the first location of five franchisee Missy Moon will be spreading throughout the Peach State, stretching from Acworth down to the Columbus area.

“I fell in love with Biscuit Belly not only because the food is phenomenal, but because the brand has a stellar leadership team,” Moon said in a press release. “The business model and support they provide are unparalleled and I’m excited to get in at the ground floor when the concept is still growing. I’m thrilled to be bringing a better brunch to the Acworth community.”

Biscuit Belly serves freshly made in-house biscuits that are then turned into sandwiches and sides. The menu includes “The Rockwell,” a buttermilk fried chicken breast with cheddar and goetta sausage gravy, as well as other gourmet creations like brisket biscuits, fried green tomatoes, breakfast tots and vegetarian options.

The restaurant also serves craft soda made from real sugarcane, lattes and breakfast cocktails such as mimosas and bloody marys, as well as the “RumChata Latte,” which is made with cold brew, RumChata and vanilla vodka.
