We are nearly a month out from one of country music’s biggest nights!

Lainey Wilson, who is a first-time nominee is leading the pack with six nominations. Her album “Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’” has earned her nominations including Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Song of the Year. Chris Stapleton, Ashley McBryde and Carly Pearce are right behind her with five nominations each, while Cody Johnson and songwriter/producer Josh Osborne scored four nominations each. Carrie Underwood, HARDY, Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert all secured three nominations a piece.

There are also several notable artists from Georgia that’ll be representing at the CMAs. Luke Bryan, the Leesburg, Georgia, native, is nominated for Single of the Year award for “Buy Dirt,” by Jordan Davis featuring Bryan, who will also be co-hosting the show alongside NFL Hall of Famer, Peyton Manning. Bryan, of course, is no stranger to the show as he served as the host at last year’s ceremony and he’s also won Entertainer of the Year twice, the highest honor at the CMA Awards. Bryan is also one of country music’s biggest stars with 29 No. 1 hits and 17.2 billion streams globally. The co-hosts seem to get along really well already, as evidenced by Manning’s Instagram post.

Representing Atlanta is the Zac Brown Band nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, while the Macon, Georgia, native, Jason Aldean is nominated for Musical Event of the Year with Carrie Underwood for their hit, “If I Didn’t Love You.” Cole Swindell, from Glennville, Georgia, is also nominated for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year with Lainey Wilson for “Never Say Never.”

Sounds like it’s going to be an exciting show this year! If you want to check out the full list of nominees, click here. You can catch the CMA Awards Wednesday, Nov. 9 on ABC.
