If you’re going to Dragon Con, you know that the attendees are some of the world’s most creative and dedicated cosplayers. They arrive each year at the convention dressed in their finest costumes and are ready to show off their hard work.

And they don’t disappoint. I’ve seen people dressed as stormtroopers, a 12-foot Ursula from “The Little Mermaid,” Spy vs. Spy, Prince and his backup dancers and thousands of other imaginative cosplays. Whether you’re looking for a fast, easy costume or a last-minute piece to finish your look, these six Atlanta stores have what you need:

Psycho Sisters

If you’re looking to stand out, Psycho Sisters is your spot. This Little 5 Points gem has it all: vintage men’s and women’s clothing and the best and most unique costume pieces in town. In addition, there are disco dresses, cowboy boots, corsets, accessories from every decade and technicolor wigs. They also have a variety of jewelry and accessories to help you finish your look.

Junkman’s Daughter

Looking for a one-of-a-kind costume? Visit Junkman’s Daughter in Little 5 Points! Atlanta’s alternative superstore caters to the curious shopper looking for unique items of all kinds. The 10,000-square-foot store is overflowing with eclectic clothing, accessories, trinkets, wigs and more.

Rag-O-Rama

If you’re looking for something simple to complete your costume, like a red dress, funky heels, or a vintage t-shirt, Rag-O-Rama is for you. The funky clothing store features gently used vintage and contemporary clothing, accessories and jewelry. There are two locations in Georgia: one in Little 5 Points and one in Sandy Springs.

The Lucky Exchange

The Lucky Exchange is off Ponce de Leon Avenue but in an easy-to-overlook, unassuming building. Once you get inside, you’ll discover an off-the-beaten-path collection of reasonably priced, well-organized, near-perfect vintage threads. We love discovering new treasures here, whether it’s a pair of hand-embroidered jeans or a 70s-style blazer that transports your style to another era.

Eddie’s Trick Shop

For over 30 years, Eddie’s Trick Shop has been a one-stop shop for all of your Halloween and theatrical needs. Thousands of fun items are available, including costumes, theatrical makeup, masks, wigs, hats, clown supplies, novelty gifts, and more. The family-owned business has two locations in Atlanta: one on Marietta Square and one in Stone Mountain.

Spirit Halloween

If you’re looking for the most costume-y store of all, Spirit Halloween is where it’s at. The superstore is open seasonally, usually right in time for Dragon Con — perfect for those who need a last-minute and already put-together costume.
