Skylines for days: 10 of the best Atlanta skyline views

Combined with the green canopy of the city’s lush trees, the Atlanta skyline is truly one-of-a-kind. From Downtown to Midtown to Buckhead and more, here are ten of the best Atlanta skyline views from different angles that will capture that perfect shot (or selfie).
Jackson Street Bridge
There’s nothing post-apocalyptic about this spectacular view of Atlanta that was popularized by the season one poster from “The Walking Dead.” Park your car for free on the side streets, or on Jackson Street itself (there is usually plenty of parking). Snap a selfie or grab your tripod to experiment with lighting and exposure at this prominent location to capture the Atlanta skyline.

Piedmont Park
There are plenty of opportunities to capture the gorgeous Midtown skyline at Atlanta’s signature beloved greenspace. Whether you’re walking around Lake Clara Meer (with a Sean’s Heart of the Park smoothie in tow), running a few laps or playing soccer at the Active Oval, or enjoying a burger and beer at Park Tavern, you’ll be greeted by a variety of angles to capture the perfect shot. You can also find bountiful skyline views next door at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

You can also decide to take the gondola ride up to the top of this quartz monzonite dome monadnock. For even more breathtaking views, we recommend a sunrise or sunset visit.
