Lil Baby, Drake and DJ Khaled team up for ‘Staying Alive’

Another one! You know it’s always going to be a great time when Lil Baby, Drake and DJ Khaled team up.
The first single from DJ Khaled’s upcoming album, “God Did,” is here. It’s been a few weeks now, that DJ Khaled has been teasing the single via his social media channels - between posts of the trio on the music video set, the cover art and video clip teases, everyone has been waiting for the new release of, “Staying Alive.”
Well, the wait is over; the official video is here - or should I say official videos. That’s right, there are actually two versions of the video, the standard one, and the extended version, that’s nearly eight minutes long. In the song, Lil Baby and Drake rap while putting their own spin on the chorus to 1977 hit by the Bee Gees, “Stayin’ Alive.” In the video, DJ Khaled is transformed into Dr. Khaled, who is the Head of Neuro Surgery at Khaled Khaled Hospital. Drake and Lil Baby also play doctors who make sure their patients “stay alive.” Once they all succeed, the emergency quickly turns into a nightclub with drinks, hookah and even a VIP section.
The new release is the first single from DJ Khaled’s upcoming 13th studio album. The album has been in the works for months, and Khaled is calling it the “biggest” album of his career. He’s already posted himself in the studio with multiple megastars including Atlanta’s own Future and Gunna, Kanye West, Lil Durk, Chance The Rapper, Rod Wave and multiple others. Earlier this week, DJ Khaled confirmed that he received vocals from legendary rapper, producer and entrepreneur Jay-Z.
DJ Khaled’s album, “God Did,” will be dropping on Aug. 26, so be on the lookout for it! Watch the extended video for “Staying Alive” below.
