CHECK OUT: 5 must-see concerts in Atlanta this week

Here are five of the best things to do in Atlanta this weekend (Aug. 19-21).

How well do you know the movie “Clueless”?

If you think you know everything about Cher, Dionne and Tai, then head over to Elsewhere Brewing for their Clueless Trivia Friday night. The brewery, located at The Beacon, is hosting this event, which includes themed cocktails, throwback music and the opportunity to win a $100 gift card. Teams of no more than six people must arrive and register before the start time of 9 p.m.

Location: East Atlanta - 1039 Grant St SE Suite B34; Time: 9-11 p.m.; Date: Friday, Aug. 19; Admission: Free; Website: events.accessatlanta.com

Catch the Gwinnett Stripers take on the Memphis Redbirds

We’ll just say it: if you’ve never been to a minor league baseball game, it’s time to go to Coolray Field and cheer on our Atlanta Braves’ triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers.

A Stripers game, about a 45-minute drive from Atlanta, is a low-cost outing for families and friends and a memorable date. Tickets start at $8, and special promotion days add value — Friday’s game will include fireworks in addition to nine innings of good old-fashioned American baseball.

Location: Gwinnett - 2500 Buford Dr, Lawrenceville, GA 30043; Time: 7 p.m.; Date: Friday, Aug. 19; Admission: $8+; Website: events.accessatlanta.com

Round up your friends for a “Honky Tonk Saturday Night” at Lloyd’s

Are you ready for a night of good food and music? Then round up your friends and head to Lloyd’s Restaurant and Lounge for a honky tonk Saturday night!

Andrea and Mud, a surf western band, will begin playing at 8 p.m. and continue until late so you can enjoy all the retro “garage rock and 1970s trucker” vibes.

Location: East Atlanta - 900 DeKalb Ave NE; Time: 8 p.m.; Date: Saturday, Aug. 20; Admission: Free; Website: events.accessatlanta.com
