Free performance by Mario at ‘Real Talk Drives Real Change’ in Atlanta

This will be the perfect match-up of entertainment and education!
This Sunday, singer and songwriter Mario will be hitting the stage during the “Real Talk Drives Real Change” event. Pop culture and political commentator, Mike Muse is hosting a live event that will take on the conversation of racial disparities head-on. Muse, along with several guest panelists will talk about issues that disproportionately impact people of color, but they’ll also give listeners real-life tools to inspire positive change. In addition to the panel discussions, there will be a chance for you to get some shopping in at different vendor booths. One of my favorite parts about this event is that it’s free to the public!
Muse will be joined by Nse Ufot, Chief Executive Officer of the New Georgia Project, Mysonne the General, Hip-Hop Artist and Criminal Justice Reform Activist and Lee Merritt, Civil Rights Attorney. The panelists will go over several topics such as policy and justice reform while breaking down the power of using one’s platform to raise awareness and emphasize the importance of local voting and elections. This comes at an important time, with so much going on in the world and with elections coming up soon. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by R&B singer, Mario.
Mario is fresh off of the heels of his Verzuz battle against B2K member, Omarion. If you’ve seen any of the memes or social media conversations around the battle, then you already know that Mario is ready to bring the vocals!
This is a free-ticketed event open to the public, just make sure you grab your free tickets at changenewone.com. The event is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in the Sidney Marcus Auditorium.
If you can’t make it out to the event but are still interested, you can also catch a stream of the event.
