Simple Savings for ATL Moms: 3 signs you should start couponing

This is a guest post from Quida Davis at Simple Savings for ATL Moms which offers tips on shopping, saving and couponing. Check back for more of her tips.

I remember when I was younger and first started learning how to use coupons. It was a difficult time because we had to find a source of cheap food. I am very glad that coupons were there to help us afford food that was not costly. If you have ever wondered if you should start couponing, here are 3 signs that you should start today:

You don’t have money for food

If your monthly grocery bills are exceeding what you have in your budget, then you may want to start learning how to use coupons. Let's face it, there are times when our bills are more pressing than the food we would buy. If this is happening to you, grab some coupons and start to match what is on sale with the coupons you have. If you do not have access to coupon inserts, look for coupons on my coupon database, coupons.com, smartsource.com or redplum.com.

You love eating out

One of the best things to have as a couponer is access to restaurant coupons. I have been able to get many great deals from my local restaurants including Free food because I have had coupons to use. The coupons come in several sources including Coupon Inserts. I have seen many coupons for restaurants such as Olive Garden, Long Horn Steakhouse, Boston Market and several others.

You need to save money?

It is always a great time to save money. If you don’t believe that you can save money when you coupon, I challenge you to use coupons for 60 days and see how much money you save while using them. The time to start is now!
