Free rides, food and fun at SkyView Atlanta

SkyView Atlanta, the 200-foot high ferris wheel in downtown Atlanta is celebrating its second anniversary.

On Thursday, July 16, guest can enjoy free food, drinks, rides on the wheel, and prizes all day long. There will also be live entertainment through the evening including a magic show from noon to 3 p.m. that will include live animal, face painting, and a balloon artist. From  7- 10 p.m., SkyView will host belly dancers, stilt walkers, and a fire show.

SkyView’s birthday falls on 7/16  so everything has a 716 theme.  One lucky rider will find $716 in cash hidden in SkyView’s air conditioned gondolas. They will give away $716 worth of SkyView tickets. And if your brithday falls on  July 16, you get to ride free all day long. Other freebies include 716 hotdogs and 716 cans of Coca-Cola. They will also be giving away 716 Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches during the evening hours.

SkyView Atlanta is located at 168 Luckie St. in Downtown Atlanta across from Centennial Olympic Park. Hours are 10 am – midnight. If you miss the ride freebies, you'll have to pay $13.50 for adults and $8.50 for children under 12. For more information, visit www.skyviewatlanta.com .
