The Apple Watch will begin showing up on the wrists of early-bird shoppers this Friday, but for the rest of us who may have some interest in the new device, getting one won’t be easy; the things are sold out and probably out of stock for a few months.

Nevertheless, if you're still considering a purchase, I have an old-school Pro-and-Con list for you! It appeared in Tuesday's print edition of the American-Statesman and online at MyStatesman.com. Here's an excerpt from the piece:

  • If you already feel bombarded by emails and texts all day, this is one more screen of constant notifications for you to keep track of. (They can be disabled, at least.)
  • If you have social anxiety, you probably won't want to wear this conspicuously in public. You will likely attract strangers asking about your cool Apple Watch.

Read the rest of the lists on MyStatesman.com and let me know what you think.
