I consider myself to be just as romantic as the next person.  I’ve still not been a strong believer in the idea of love at first sight, though.  Sure you can feel strong attraction, lust, or be mesmerized by someone, but love? I don’t know that is what I would call love.

My friend Greg disagrees because he said he loved his wife from the moment he saw her.  He thinks the heart  knows and the head has to catch up.  Maybe everyone is different, though.  Perhaps some people are more open to love at first sight than others? What do you think?

Have you ever experienced love at first sight?  Did it surprise you?
