Celebrate the arrival of Spring with a series of free signature events at Atlantic Station on the Westside and Avalon in Alpharetta. These seasonal events begin in the spring and typically run through September. Always check the events calendar on the websites for up-to-date information and cancellations due to weather.

Improv in the Park: This year, Improv in the Park kicks off on April Fool's Day at 8 p.m. in Central Park. The event is hosted by Whole World Improv Theatre and takes place on the first Wednesday of every month through September.
Movies in the Park: Get ready for movies under the stars. This annual series gets started on May 21 and runs through August 20. Check back here soon for a listing of this year's films as well as a guide to other free outdoor movies taking place in the metro area.
Tot Spot: Pre-schoolers have their day every Tuesday from 10 a.m. – noon during Tot Spot which starts April 7 and runs through the end of September. Kids can play and enjoy experiences such as storytellers, face painters or arts and crafts.
Wellness Wednesdays: In conjunction with Exhale Spa and Athleta, enjoy Wellness Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. beginning April 8. The series of free class series, is led by Exhale in Central Park. When the weather is bad, the class takes place inside Athleta (with a limit of 25 participants.) Call Athleta to register ahead. And of course, bring your own mat.

AvalOM: Every Thursday evening, from 6 to 7 p.m., enjoy a free wellness class in the Plaza. The classes will include yoga, barre, Adventure Runs and spinning, and will be led by Exhale Spa, Flywheel, Road Runner Sports, Athleta and more. The series runs from April 9 – Oct. 1.
Little Acorns: Starting on April 7 and running through Sept. 29, toddlers takeover on Tuesday mornings, from 10 a.m. to noon. Little ones will be entertained by face painters, storytellers, magicians, arts and crafts and more while parents and caregivers take a break.
Sunday Brunch: On the second Sunday of the month, visitors can enjoy music performed by local artists in the Plaza during Brunch hours. Get your brunch to-go (from Goldberg's, Bantam + Biddy, Oak Steakhouse and more) and enjoy music with your meal. The dates include: April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.
