For example, Tide laundry detergent (46-50 ounce liquid) is on sale for $5.94, or $3.98 after promotion savings. Buy three bottles and use the $2-off-three Tide coupon from the March 1 P&G circular. Your net cost will be $3.30 per bottle.
Walgreens Promotion
Promotion: Walgreens has a promotion that gives you 5,000 Balance Rewards points worth $6.25 when you spend $20 or more on participating P&G products including Tide, Dawn, Bounty, Charmin and Puffs. Because the Balance Rewards spending goal is calculated before coupons are deducted, simply take 31 percent off the sale price of the item to figure out its net cost (assuming you'll hit the $20 total in combined purchases). For example, Dawn dish liquid (9 ounce) is on sale for 99 cents, or 68 cents after promotion savings. Use the 50-cent coupon for the Dawn Hand Renewal variety in the March 1 P&G circular for a net cost of 18 cents after Balance Rewards savings.

Garnier Fructis: Rite Aid has a promotion that gives you a $3 +UP Reward when you buy $12 of selected Garnier Fructis hair care products on sale for $3.33 each (regularly priced at $4.99). Buy four bottles to hit the $12 spending goal for the promotion and use four of the $2 coupons from the March 1 RedPlum to pay $1.33 per bottle at the register. Your net cost per bottle will be 58 cents after the $3 +UP Reward.
Garnier Fructis, Pantene: Walgreens has a promotion that gives you 3,000 Balance Rewards points worth $3.75 when you buy three Garnier Fructis hair care products on sale for $3.33 each. Use three of the $2 coupons from the March 1 RedPlum to pay $1.33 each at the register. After the Balance Rewards savings, your net cost will be 8 cents per bottle. Also, Walgreens has Pantene hair care products on sale for $4 each (regularly priced at $4.49). Use the $5-off-three coupon from the March 1 P&G circular to pay $2.33 each at the register. You will get a $3 Register Rewards coupon so your net cost will be $1.33 per bottle.
Get ready for Easter
Hershey's, Cadbury: Walgreens has Hershey's or Cadbury Easter candy (7.1- to 10-ounce bags) on sale for $2.50 each. Buy three bags and use the store coupon from the March Savings Booklet for $1 off two, plus the $1.50-off-three coupon from the Feb. 22 SmartSource to pay $1.67 per bag.
