My friend Sean met a woman and began dating her at the end of last year.  She told him that although they have been intimate before, she doesn’t plan to do it again. She has decided to be celibate for religious reasons and her next partner would be her husband.  Sean is breaking up with her because he doesn’t want to have a relationship without physical intimacy and he is not ready to get married.

This made me think about how tough it could be dating while celibate.  When do you bring it up? Should you only date other celibate people?  Would you be comfortable with the person seeking sex from somebody else while you dated them?

Have you ever dated someone who was celibate?
