In addition to free classes, they will give away over 70 bags filled with special goodies from HEALTH Magazine partners. LifeLine Animal Project: The nonprofit that manages DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services, invites you to adopt a pet for free this weekend during the "Ring in the New Year with a New Pet" promotion. You can adopt any dog, puppy, cat or kitten for no charge at DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) or LifeLine Animal Project's shelter. All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more (a retail value of over $200.) Potential adopters will be screened to ensure the animals go to good homes.

Monkey Joe's Birthday party: School is out for Presidents' Day so head to Monkey Joe's 3rd to attend the annual nationwide birthday celebration for company namesake, Monkey Joe. The all day event takes place on Monday, Feb. 16. Participating Monkey Joe's locations will offer free cotton candy and goodie bags to the first 100 children.
