There are many reasons men admit to dumping someone: She was rude. She was crazy. I’ve even heard a guy admit a woman’s filthy car made him cringe. I was surprised to hear that a woman’s cooking skills won’t hurt her chances if they are bad.

While many men I ask say they appreciated if she has them, cooking skills doesn’t seem to be ranked that high for importance. I recall a time when women signed up for cooking classes to impress dates. I bet some still do, especially if they want to prep for this holiday cooking season upon us.

Do you think a woman knowing how to cook and entertain is still important? Does the modern woman still think of cooking as a means to show a man she cares for him?

Guys – If a woman has zero cooking skills and no interest in getting lessons, would you consider that a red flag?
