Here are a few things to know on Tuesday:

1. Braves lose to Mariners

Mike Foltynewicz struggled on the mound as the Atlanta Braves lost to the Seattle Mariners 6-5 on Monday night at SunTrust Park. The Braves play the second of three games against the Mariners on Tuesday at 7:35 p.m.

2. Georgia Tech strikes apparel deal with Adidas

Ken Sugiura reports Georgia Tech is expected to announce an apparel deal with Adidas on Tuesday. In June, the Yellow Jackets announced they would dump Russell Athletic after the 2017-2018 academic year.

3. AP preseason poll released

The Associated Press preseason college football top 25 was released on Monday afternoon. For the full list, visit the AJC.com.

4. Tennessee's Josh Smith expected to miss Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game

Tennessee wide receiver Josh Smith is expected to miss the start of football season and the Volunteers' season opener against Georgia Tech with a collarbone injury. Tennessee coach Butch Jones said there is no timetable for Smith's return.

5. Will the Braves call up Acuna?
