Here are a few things to know about all the games Atlanta and Georgia teams have coming up this weekend:

1. Falcons travel to Detroit

The Atlanta Falcons will face the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Wide receiver Julio Jones told media on Thursday he wasn't impressed by Detroits secondary. The game will be broadcast on Fox.

2. Braves win season finale against Nationals

The Atlanta Braves won the season finale against the Washington Nationals on Thursday night, 3-2. Braves pitcher R.A. Dickey pitched eight innings, allowing two runs and four hits. The Braves play a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies starting on Friday at 7:35 p.m. at SunTrust Park.

3. Georgia to host Mississippi State

The Georgia Bulldogs open their conference schedule on Saturday at Sanford Stadium against No. 17 Mississippi State. The No. 11 ranked Georgia Bulldogs kick off at 7 p.m. and can be watched on ESPN.

4. Georgia Tech to face Penn

After last week's game at UCF was canceled, Georgia Tech will host Pittsburgh at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday. The game kicks off at 12:20 p.m. and can be watched on the ACC Network.

5. Atlanta United hosts Montreal Impact

Atlanta United will host the Montreal Impact on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
