Here's why everyone is talking about Gucci Mane's wedding before it even happens
Gucci Mane is gearing up for one of the most memorable occasions of his life. But it’s not a concert or a new record. It’s his wedding day.

The Atlanta hip-hop star is set to tie the knot with beauty and fitness entrepreneur Keyshia Ka'oir, and the event will be broadcast live on BET at 10 EST tonight, as a part of a 10-part special called "Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir: The Mane Event."
The 10/17 wedding date is especially significant for the rapper. His 1017 record label, which was named after the address number of his grandfather's home, has helped launch the careers of artists including Waka Flocka Flame, Young Thug and Migos.
His new sneakers The Workout Plus EG, a collaboration with Reebok, also became available on the shoe company's website today.
But right now, Gucci, who dropped his latest album "Mr. Davis" earlier in October and an autobiography in September, is focused on his nuptials.
"10/17/2017 Happy 1017 we all getting dead (expletive) fresh we turning up at our wedding #TheManeEvent brrrrrr," he tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
His fans and supporters are just as thrilled, many of them taking to social media to express their excitement about the extravagant affair.

Gucci proposed to his girlfriend nearly a year ago during an Atlanta Hawks game.
He took to the court at halftime to perform for the crowd, but it was his fourth-quarter appearance on the "Kiss Cam" that drew the biggest applause.
He and Keyshia appeared on the video board as the crowd egged them on to kiss. Instead, Gucci had a surprise for all, presenting Keyshia with an engagement ring.

The couple began dating prior to Gucci's three-year prison sentence, which he served for assaulting a fan who wanted to take a picture with him.
Now, the couple is looking forward to happily ever after as they prepare to walk down the aisle tonight at the Four Seasons Miami.
