Police in Mississippi had been looking for D’Jarvis Hundley.

U.S. Marshals on Wednesday closed in on a DeKalb County neighborhood and arrested a man who was wanted in connection with a shooting in Mississippi, officials said.

D’Jarvis Hundley, 19, was taken into custody around noon at the Eagles Run Apartments, U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Inspector Eric Heinze told AJC.com.

He was wanted on aggravated assault charges following a drive-by shooting Sept. 25 in Hattiesburg, according to Hattiesburg police.

Earlier this week, marshals received word that Hundley might be in the DeKalb area, Heinze said. They were able to track him down and arrest him without incident.

Two others on the scene were arrested by DeKalb police, though Heinze could not specify what they were charged with.
