1. Winter storm watch issued ahead of snow. A watch was issued Thursday in metro Atlanta ahead of 1 to 2 inches of snow likely Friday through Saturday. 2. Uber driver shot as he dropped off passengers. Police are looking for two people who followed a father and daughter to their southeast Atlanta home, held them at gunpoint and shot their Uber driver. [Read here]

4. Alleged serial rapist arrested in Atlanta. A man accused of raping a juvenile and three women in the Mechanicsville area was arrested early Thursday in Atlanta. U.S. Marshals arrested the man about 6 a.m. at a house on Memorial Drive, according to Channel 2 Action News. [Read here]

5. Lawsuit alleges Coca-Cola covered up soft drink health threats. Coca-Cola and an industry group face accusations in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday that they tried to cover up links between drinking sugary beverages and harmful health effects such as obesity and diabetes. [Read here]
