One item inside a Publix on South Cobb Drive will be getting more attention than the rest on Friday. And, no, it isn’t a Pub Sub.

The College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy will be available for pictures from 4 to 6 p.m. at the 4480 South Cobb Drive grocery store location in Smyrna, said Publix spokeswoman Brenda Reid.

Jesse Palmer, NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst, will also be there to take pictures with folks.

Reid said shoppers will have well under a minute of time with the trophy and Palmer, considering the event is two hours.

The trophy will either stay in Georgia or head to Alabama after Monday's championship game.

Made from 24-karat gold, bronze, and stainless steel, the trophy is 26½ inches tall, according to the playoff's website. The base, a foot tall, is formed from bronze with a hand-rubbed black patina finish. It weighs 23 pounds.

Downtown Atlanta has been transformed into "Championship Campus" if you're looking for more ways to get into the football mood.

If it's more convenient, the trophy will be at a Walmart in Gwinnett County earlier that day.
