The College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy presented by Dr Pepper is seen prior to the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship Game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers at Raymond James Stadium on January 9, 2017 in Tampa, Florida.

Before the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy is awarded to the Georgia Bulldogs or Alabama Crimson Tide, you can see it up close and personal at a Suwanee Walmart.

The trophy will make a stop at the store at 3245 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road on Friday, Jan. 5 from noon to 2 p.m. You can look at it and take photos with it, but please do not touch the 24-karat gold plated tribute to football glory. Touching or holding the trophy will not be allowed, a Walmart spokeswoman said.
