"Atlanta residents have faithfully supported Pike Nurseries as a neighbor in their communities for over 60 years, and we're thrilled to be able to further expand our roots in the market," Monte Enright, president of Pike Nursuries, said in a statement. "We've wanted to join the Milton community for some time and look forward to welcoming our new neighbors into our store and helping with all their garden needs."

Pike Nursuries was founded in 1958 by Pete Pike. He worked at a nursery while serving at the Naval Air Station in Chamblee, and then went on to open his own business in Marietta. The business has grown from one store to many across Georgia and North Carolina.

Managing the new Milton location will be Michael Fabian, who is a graduate of Clemson University and has worked in the gardening business since 1997.

The store’s regular hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day of the week.
