October is technically national "Adopt A Shelter Dog Month" — but that doesn't mean shelters cats aren't getting some love too.

Throughout the month, all canine and feline friends available at the Gwinnett County animal shelter can be adopted for a discounted rate of $20. That fee includes vaccinations, microchip and spaying/neutering.

Here are photos of adorable future pets that, as of Thursday afternoon, were listed for adoption on the shelter's website. Click here to find more information (and more adoptable cats).

The shelter is located at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Potential adopters should keep in mind that pets listed online may no longer be available for adoption.
