Police believe a 20-year-old Atlanta man kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from a DeKalb County gas station and shot her male friend.

Gerald Bernard Fletcher was seen fleeing the Shell at 3794 Bouldercrest Road on a four-wheeler on the evening of Nov. 3, according to police records released Friday. The suspect had just shot the man and shoved the ex into a car driven by an unknown woman, a warrant says.

The warrant alleges Fletcher followed the accomplice's car on the four-wheeler to a home in the area, which is near Ellenwood.

Once at the house, Fletcher struck the woman and threatened to kill her before calling her an Uber ride and letting her go, the warrant says.

"The victim was observed to have swelling on her face and two black eyes and several scratches and abrasions over the body," an officer wrote.

No motive has been released.

Fletcher was arrested Thursday and has no bond. It wasn't immediately clear if the alleged accomplice has been charged.
