Jobs and produce are sprouting in Tucker.

The wildly popular chain Sprouts Farmers Market announced the opening date Wednesday for its new location, as well as plans to hire more than 100 people.

On April 26 at 7 a.m., the doors will swing on the 15th Sprouts to open in Georgia, following the opening of the Decatur store in March.

The 30,000-square-foot Tucker store is located at 4310 Lavista Road in the new Tucker Meridian center which is set to include a slew of popular stores.

Sprouts is bringing more than 100 full- and part-time career opportunities to the Tucker area, the company said. Sprouts says applicants should “share a passion for healthy eating and the fresh, natural and organic products offered throughout the store.”

Employment opportunities include:

  • Department managers, assistant department managers and clerks in the departments produce, meat and seafood, vitamin and body care, grocery, deli and bakery
