Good news: A whopping 254 pets were adopted from the Gwinnett County animal shelter in October, thanks in large part to a special month-long promotion.

More good news: That promotion has been extended through November — meaning you can still adopt Gwinnett shelter animals (dogs and cats) for just $20.

The shelter posted as much on its Facebook page Tuesday.
