Road repair crews are trying to patch even more DeKalb County potholes in April than they did during the same month last year as they begin their annual infrastructure improvement campaign.

DeKalb will attempt to break a mark set last year when it filled more than 1,000 potholes during its “pothole palooza” effort.

Hundreds of miles of roads will get attention during April, which is National County Government Month.

Interim DeKalb CEO Lee May and the Department of Roads and Drainage are launching the effort Wednesday.
