Looking for love? Georgia may not be the best location to find it, according to WalletHub's best places for singles list.

The finance website came up with its results by analyzing the 50 states and Washington D.C. using 23 metrics across three categories: dating opportunities, dating economics and romance and fun.

The Peach State ranked No. 33 overall, while Washington and Colorado earned first and second place, respectively.

Although Georgia earned the No. 14 spot for best dating opportunities, it was only No. 38 for dating economics and No. 41 for romance and fun.

Neighboring states also ranked low, overall. Mississippi was No. 51, Alabama was No. 50 and Tennessee was No. 43.
