PUMPKING PATCH AT PONCE CITY MARKET

Get your fill of pumpkin patch vibes at the PumpKing Patch & Harvest Bar located on the lawn of Ponce City Market.

The PumpKing Patch will have pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors. There will be games like Pumpkin tic-tac-toe, cornhole, giant Jenga, and more. In the evening you can stop by for a drink and hang out by one of the bonfire pits too.

FREE YOGA CLASSES AT THE MALL OF GEORGIA

To help provide a sense of peace for the week, the Mall of Georgia in Gwinnett County will host Namaste Nights: Yoga in the Village on Tuesday nights (Oct. 23 is the last one in this series). JIM HENSON’S THE DARK CRYSTAL: WORLD OF MYTH AND MAGIC AT CENTER FOR PUPPETRY ARTS’

Since 1955, Jim Henson’s warm and fuzzy Muppets have delighted children. In 1982, he decided to use his puppets for another purpose. In that year, he released “The Dark Crystal,” a fever-dream of a movie, with invented languages, wild landscapes, strange creatures and some very scary bad guys.

Explore how Jim Henson, Brian Froud, Frank Oz and others created "The Dark Crystal's" mythical world of Thra. Museum admission is $12.50, but it's free with a ticket to the Center's Family Series shows. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Center for Puppetry Arts, 1404 Spring St. NW, Atlanta. puppet.org.

“IMAGINATION NIGHTS AT THE GEORGIA AQUARIUM”

Head to the Georgia Aquarium after 4 p.m. to enjoy shorter lines, smaller crowds – and a nicely reduced ticket price, with savings of over 30 percent off regular ticket prices.
