KENNESAW

Santa Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town! One specific town that is. The city of Kennesaw celebrates by throwing a Santa parade complete with marching bands, decorated floats, classic cars and plenty of costumed characters. Beginning at Park Drive and Main Street, the route proceeds south past Cherokee Street toward Cemetery Street. Once the parade is over, the fun will continue at Depot Park. Let the kids loose in the snow playground or let them make their own artworks in the kids’ craft corner. Browse the holiday market for gifts or grab a bite from the on-site food vendors. And of course, sneak a peek at the Head Elf himself before he heads back to the North Pole to prepare for the main event.

Noon-6 p.m. Dec. 2. Free. Downtown Kennesaw, 2250 Lewis St., Kennesaw. 770-422-9714, kennesaw-ga.gov.
