The Bragg Jam Community Festival and Concert Crawl in Macon (500 Cherry St., Macon) is a great way to give back to a community while enjoying live music, local food, art and festivities. On July 30th, artists like The Fritz, Luke Combs, Wasted Potential Brass Band, The Weeks and many more will take the stage in honor of two of Macon's most memorable musicians. Shakey Graves, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors and Josh Thompson will headline the event.

What started as a jam session in honor of two musicians in 1999 has grown into Macon's largest music and arts festival. Brax Bragg, a singer and songwriter from Macon, and Tate Bragg, his guitarist brother, have made their mark on the community since their unfortunate passing. For the last 17 years, the city of Macon has played host to a jam session in their honor and it gets bigger every year. The money raised at the festival goes to the Macon Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, among other causes in the name of the Bragg brothers.

Tickets to the Bragg Jam Concert Crawl cost $30 plus a fee of $2.48 and allow guests access to several venues from 3 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. in downtown Macon.

If you're looking to make a weekend out of it, consider purchasing a ticket to the Patron Party on Friday, July 29, for $75 plus a fee of $4.74. This ticket includes a Bragg Jam t-shirt, entrance to the kick-off celebration with limited food, open bar drinks and live music.

The community festival has also teamed up with The Macon Film Festival to offer VIP tickets for all the week's events. The film festival will take place Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. A VIP ticket costs $175 plus a $1 fee. The VIP ticket gains all access to the film festival, the Bragg Jam Music and Arts Festival, and a t-shirt for each event.
