Coastal Empire Beer Co.
This award-winning Savannah brewery offers behind-the-scenes tours Thursdays through Saturdays, with guests getting a glimpse of how Coastal Empire creations such as Savannah Brown Ale come to life. If you opt to taste this malty brew on the tour, see if your taste buds can detect tinges of chocolate, roasted nuts and citrus. The brewery is known to pop the top on special events, including concerts and more.
Located in Ringgold, not far from the Tennessee state line, this winemaker dates back to 1983 and proudly touts itself as the first of its kind in the state. Tastings happen daily and include your choice of any three wines plus two premium pours with food-pairing samples. Take a 45-minute guided tour, or perhaps save your visit for one of Georgia Winery’s special events: the Harvest Concert (Oct. 8), Ladies Night Out (Oct. 28), Fall Wine Dinner (Nov. 12) or Christmas Open House (Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 24).
