If you’re looking for something fun to do in metro Atlanta this weekend, plenty of Halloween and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) events are scheduled throughout the area so chances are good you’ll find one nearby. Anime Weekend Atlanta, the Southeast’s largest anime convention, also returns to Cobb County, and several 5K runs are on the calendar.

Celebrate Japanese culture, anime, manga and pop culture at the Southeast’s largest anime convention. All participants are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test, and masks are also required.
Fall Celebration: Carnival and a Movie

Celebrate Halloween by attending a carnival and then watching “The Addams Family” movie. Carnival games, candy and more will be available, and costumes are encouraged.
Sprayberry Trunk or Treat Community Festival

Sprayberry High School will host a Trunk or Treat event with festival food, a large kids’ zone, spooky exhibits, local entertainment, costume contests and lots of candy.
