Here’s what stores are open on Thanksgiving Day this year
While most stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, there are still plenty of places to go for those last-minute Turkey Day essentials or to get a head start on Black Friday shopping.
From major retailers to groceries and big box stores, here is a list of retailers that will be open for Thanksgiving this year:
Big Lots
Big Lots locations will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
CVS
Many locations will be open on Thanksgiving, including the pharmacy, though customers are advised to check for specific hours.
Dollar General
Spectacular savings from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Family Dollar
Stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Five Below
Save big from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Kroger
Most stores will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight.
Michaels
For any last-minute crafts, Michaels opens from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Old Navy
Most of the clothing store’s locations will open at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open through Black Friday.
Walgreens
Non-24-hour stores may operate on holiday schedules with reduced hours. Pharmacy hours can vary.
Whole Foods Market
Many stores will be open for modified hours on Thanksgiving.
