Volunteers needed: Help assemble 300,000 dehydrated meals for children across the globe for the Stop Hunger Now program via Dunwoody United Methodist Church's volunteer event, FoodStock 2015. Of note: Carver Neighborhood Market, empowered by Focused Community Strategies (FCS), will begin its grocery bike delivery service within a one-mile radius of the market during store hours Monday, Aug. 3, 2015. This is a joint effort by the South Atlanta Bike Shop and FCS, an organization that transforms distressed urban neighborhoods through Christian community development. The groups want to increase access to fresh, healthy and affordable food in South Atlanta and surrounding neighborhoods.
