One of North America’s largest indoor water parks has opened in Georgia, and metro Atlanta families are ready to christen it.

Since officials announced last summer that Great Wolf Lodge Georgia, a destination resort for families with nearly 500,000-square-feet of entertainment offerings, was coming to LaGrange, anticipation has been building.

The attraction and hotel opened Thursday, May 24. Those who have been eager to dive into the unique water-park-meets-resort experience, can now book their stay at www.greatwolf.com/georgia. Standard rates start at $199.99 per night.

Before you make plans to visit the huge family attraction this summer,  take a moment to see just how much you know about the thrilling indoor water park and hotel just an hour down the road from Atlanta.
