Homeowners Thomas Drew and Barbara Morrison are avid art collectors. Their pottery collection is especially important to the couple, as they tend to purchase pieces by local or regional potters.

A two-tone wooden bureau and art add texture, color and a sense of movement in the guest room.

Skylights and vaulted ceilings are homeowner Thomas Drew's favorite architectural details in his contemporary home.

This psychedelic van was crafted by Peter Max, who was known for using bright colors to evoke the feelings of culture in the 1960s.

The fireplace in the Marietta living room is composed of a slab of quartz. It is accented by a copper mantel.

According to homeowner Thomas Drew, the 100-year-old Indonesian matrimonial box was taken around the country from wedding to wedding.

The modern kitchen cabinets were installed by Chip Nails, based in Winston. Stonehenge Granite & Marble installed the dark and decadent granite countertops. The backsplash is installed in a vertical pattern compared to more traditional horizontal banding.

The kitchen of the contemporary Marietta home opens up into a small keeping room where homeowners Thomas Drew and Barbara Morrison display some of their most unique furniture.

The master bedroom of the Marietta home keeps with the white and wood palette throughout the house.

The screened porch added onto the home is a frequent entertaining spot. Their eclectic art and sculpture includes Jennifer the Giraffe. "She's a cool looking lady." said homeowner Thomas Drew of the six-and-a-half-foot tall statue.

"We have about a third of an acre in the back of our residence that is designed for dogs" said homeowner Thomas Drew.

Thomas Drew, a licensed contractor and owner of DBD Renovations, and his partner Barbara Morrison have lived in the art-filled contemporary home since 1997. They live in Marietta with their labradoodle, Kasey.
