Stone, shake siding and cedar mix on the exterior of the new Cobb County home.

The home, built in 2018 by Paran Homes in Kennesaw's Chestnut Farms neighborhood, has 2,816 square feet, four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Overlooking the pool, the screened-in porch has furniture from Georgia Patio and a rug from Target.

The pool was completed by AquaRama Pools & Spas just in time for the summer and was a must for Cobb County homeowner Renee Slaughter, who loves to swim.

The poolside furniture is from Frontgate. AquaRama Pools & Spas also included a fire pit in the design for the new backyard.

The Kawai grand piano fit perfectly in the sitting room alongside a couch from Pottery Barn and an ottoman from Bassett, the homeowners said.

Built-ins surround the fireplace and television in the den, displaying important pieces to the Slaughters, like the carved lion and lamb from a trip to Israel. The chairs were reupholstered by The Bronze Monkey in Marietta.

The kitchen is open to the den, which was an important factor for the homeowners. The leather couch is from RH and the rug is from Bassett. A sideboard and mirror connects the two spaces.
