Lately, it seems everyone has something to say about summer being over too soon.

Well, here’s more fuel for their fire: Applications to walk in the Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade are now open.

The 17th annual fall festival, which includes an hourslong parade with floats, decorated scooters and people walking in costumes, will be held Oct. 21. More than 35,000 people attend each year, the website says.

People who want to secure a spot in the parade, which goes from 4 to 6 p.m., can register here.

A few spots for the artist and food market are also still available, according to the website. Booth spaces cost $150, and vendors can apply here. Food vendors can apply here.

Details about the entertainment schedule have not yet been announced.
