If you think the Atlanta Botanical Garden is just about as good as they come, you're not alone.

A panel of five experts has nominated the plant haven as one of the best in the nation.

It's up against 10 others — including the State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens and the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx — as part of USA Today's 10Best Reader's Choice Awards.

“The Atlanta Botanical Garden comprises 30 acres of outdoor garden space, including a Children's Garden and Edible Garden,” USA Today writes. “The Fuqua Orchid Center located within the Atlanta garden's Fuqua Conservatory, houses one of the most important orchid collections in the United States.”

The poll is open through March 27. As of Thursday morning, Atlanta's garden was in sixth place. Enter your vote here.
