Santa Claus is coming to Gwinnett County, and he is ready to take festive photos and ask kids what they want for Christmas.

As elves put the finishing touches on good kids’ Christmas gifts in the North Pole, St. Nick will be at Sugarloaf Mills and the Mall of Georgia, ready to meet kids, parents and even pets.

Santa will be at Sugarloaf Mills between Nov. 17 and Dec. 24. His hours vary daily, so it is best to check Sugarloaf Mills' official Santa site. You can find him in the AMC Theatres Court.

Santa will get to the Mall of Georgia a little earlier, starting Friday, Nov. 3 and sticking put until Christmas Eve. He will be waiting for visitors in the Von Maur Court, and his hours are available on the mall's Santa site.

Both locations will have a private event for children and young adults with special needs. The Caring Santa event will be held Dec. 3 from 8 to 10 a.m. at both Sugarloaf Mills and the Mall of Georgia. Guests must register in advance on Eventbrite.

Santa will also be taking pictures with pets on three different occasions. Santa will pose with your furry friends on Nov. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Dec. 10 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Mall of Georgia, and on Dec. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sugarloaf Mills. Santa will not pose with reptiles or exotic animals. Guests should enter through the Savvii Formal Wear entrance at the Mall of Georgia and Entry 4 at Sugarloaf Mills. Registering through Eventbrite in advance is recommended.

If you don't want to wait in line, you can reserve a Santa's Fast Pass for either shopping center at simonsanta.com.
