When Seth and Allie Ott bought their Craftsman style home in 2012, the house hadn’t been renovated since it was built in 1956. The couple renovated the kitchen and living room that same year, and in 2017 they added 1,700 square feet to the rear of the home.

The coffee bar in Allie and Set Ott's home is transitional in style, bridging the gap between the more traditional kitchen and more contemporary living room. Seth and Allie Ott love coffee, so when they worked with builder Jessica Murphy with Her Cave Atlanta and architect Ebru Ercan of e3 design in 2017 to add on to their home, they added a sleek coffee bar into their living room. A painting from Glory Haus and a gifted sign top the counter.

The Ott's style is largely transitional, with traditional pieces like the china cabinet and farmhouse elements like the mismatched dining room chairs sprinkled into the decor.

When Seth and Allie Ott built their master suite in a home addition in 2017, a custom vanity and makeup counter went into the master bathroom. With storage for makeup and beauty supplies and a counter of crystal quartz by Atlantis Granite & Marble, which sparkles in a way that Allie loves, the space is an ideal place for Allie to get ready every day.

A large shower with Maya Perla tile accented by a strip in Key Largo glass mosaic and trimmed in a Carrara marble pencil tile all from The Tile Shop along with double shower heads from Moen completes the spa-like master bathroom in Seth and Allie Ott's DeKalb County home.

Seth and Allie moved into their Atlanta home in 2012, and they live there with their three children, Hudson, Henry and Hailey, and their dog, Tony Stark. Allie is a middle school math teacher, and Seth is in medical sales.

Granite countertops, light brown cabinets and red oak floors stained with Minwax Provincial create a stylish mix of neutrals in Allie and Seth Ott's kitchen, which Seth renovated in 2012.

A storage bench from HomeGoods provides a space for extra linens and blankets in Allie and Seth Ott's master bedroom. Walls painted Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter give the room a soft backdrop.

A sitting area off of the main living room is homeowner Allie Ott's favorite place to sip her morning coffee. A sofa from Rooms To Go topped with pillows from Pottery Barn fits in with the home's neutral decor, while a rug from Ballard Designs brings in hints of blue.

A large backyard is perfect for Seth and Allie Ott's three children and dog to play. The covered porch, with its comfortable seating area and craftsman style pillars, gives Allie and Seth a great spot to watch the kids, sit for a cup of coffee or gather to grill out as a family. Twin antique jade lamps from homeowner Seth Ott's grandfather frame Seth and Allie Ott's bed in their master bedroom. Their Tempur-Pedic bed along with bedding and a headboard from Pottery Barn create an inviting place to relax, while large closets allow the couple to skip dressers and keep the room open and uncluttered.

Homeowner Allie Ott chose to do her fireplace in shiplap after seeing similar styles on Pinterest and falling in love with the look. An orchid sits as a centerpiece on the Pottery Barn table in Allie and Seth Ott's dining room. Orchids are Allie's favorite flower to grow, and several of the plants can be found around their DeKalb County home.

When Seth and Allie Ott bought their Atlanta home in 2012 the kitchen hadn't been updated since the house was built in 1956. Seth gutted the kitchen, which had been a galley, and opened it up. He also updated the space with new appliances.

When they added onto their house in 2017, Seth and Allie Ott wanted to make their living room the centerpiece of their home. Part of that was the high coffered ceilings with stained wood beams. "That's the focal point. It just gives it a lot of character," said Allie.

A yellow and blue patterned armchair from homeowner Seth Ott's grandmother adds a touch of color into the chic neutral color palette of the living room of his DeKalb County home.

"My number one request was a big tub to relax in at the end of the day, a home spa to retreat to at the end of the day," said homeowner Allie Ott. A stand-alone tub by Home Center Outlet was a perfect fit when the Otts decided to build a large master bath as part of their home addition in 2017.
